Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Profitlee collects, why we collect it, how we use it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and how to contact us about your data.
Who we are
Profitlee is an ecommerce profit-calculation tool for sellers. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@profitlee.com.
What we collect and why
We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, improve, and support Profitlee. Providing account information is required if you want to sign in or use account features. Providing calculator inputs is required to calculate or save a scenario, but you can use the free calculator without creating an account.

Sub-processors
- Google OAuth: provides Google account sign-in.
- Resend: sends transactional sign-in emails and forwards feedback email.
- Neon Postgres: hosts the Profitlee application database.
- Vercel: hosts the application and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
- Lemon Squeezy: handles payments once paid plans are live.
These providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where international transfers are required, we rely on the provider's contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards and limit sharing to what is needed for the service.
Cookies
- NextAuth/Auth.js session cookie (`authjs.*`): strictly necessary; keeps you logged in.
- `pl_announce_dismissed`: functional; remembers when you dismiss an announcement.
- Vercel Analytics: analytics; cookieless by default.
We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
How we share information
We share information with the sub-processors listed above, with professional advisers if needed, and with authorities if required by law or to protect Profitlee, users, or the public. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Retention
Scenario history auto-deletes after 30 days via our TTL cron. Saved scenarios are kept until you delete them, delete your account, or we no longer need them to provide the service. Account data is kept until account deletion, unless we must keep limited records for legal, tax, security, or dispute purposes. Feedback, server logs, analytics, and billing-related records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, operations, security, accounting, and legal compliance.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, receive a copy, correct inaccurate data, delete data, stop or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to certain uses, and ask how your data is used and shared. Taiwan PDPA, GDPR, California, and other laws may provide different rights and exceptions. Email support@profitlee.com to exercise rights or ask questions. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
Profitlee is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Profitlee changes. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating this page or showing an in-product notice.
